Opera in the Park


We listened to a rehearsal of Pagliacci and Carmina Burana in Director Park downtown. The music was delightful, and I got some people sketching in too.  Although I am much more comfortable sketching backs of heads, I ventured to try some 'fronts' this time as well.

  1. great sketches of people! =) I miss doing that actually.... it's hard to find the time to just sit in a spot for hours and just sketch... I might get that chance again pretty soon though

  3. Thanks Alex and Nancy! Alex--a concert in the park is the perfect place for people watching and sketching. You ought to try it sometime!
    Nancy--You are right, chocolate pie is the only thing that could have made the afternoon any better. ;-)
